Premier League Scuttles Moses England Return

Premier League body has scuttled the ambition of former Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Victor Moses of returning to the league, BSNsports.com.ng gathered


Due to the invasion of Ukraine, the World soccer ruling body has allowed foreign players in Russia's premier league to logically terminated their contract with their clubs and moved to other clubs outside Russia.


Relegation-threatened side Burnley indicated to sign former Chelsea player but have reportedly been informed they cannot bring in Moses on a short-term deal over concerns moves between the Russian league and Premier League could harm the sporting integrity of the league,


The Premier League, however, joined the Bundesliga and Serie A is preventing any moves from taking place despite the willingness of all parties.


Burnley is next in action against Manchester City on April 2 before consecutive relegation battle fixtures against Everton and Norwich City.
