President Buhari Receives 10-yr Football Development Masterplan Committee

The Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare on Tuesday led the 10 Year Football Development Masterplan Committee to present the report to Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

President Buhari recived the report from Dare and the Chairman of the Committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima and his members at the Aso Rock Villa on Tuesday, August 23.

The Presidential Committee on 10-Year Football Masterplan was inaugurated by the Sports Minister 21st of November, 2021, to lay the foundation for the development of Nigeria’s football.

Galadima and his committee members had a month ago submitted two-volume report to Dare, who assured that the report will be delivered to President Muhammadu Buhari who will direct a white paper upon which the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will drive the implementation in phases.

Dare who clocked three years as Sports Minister on Sunday did assured the committee and indeed, Nigerians that the report will not be one of those reports that will be allowed to gather dust in some office or book shelf without implementation.
