Rangers International in-form defender, Effimi Nsi, a standout performer since joining the Enugu side at the beginning of the season, exudes confidence ahead of the showdown with Kwara United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Lagos will become the battleground on Wednesday, as six-time President's Federation Cup champions, Rangers of Enugu, lock horns with Kwara United of Ilorin for a coveted spot in the 2025 final.
The iconic Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Victoria Island will host this highly anticipated semi-final clash. The 'Flying Antelopes', guided by coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, arrive in Lagos with momentum after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Plateau United in the quarter-finals held earlier this month in Abuja.
According to Nsi, "We are ready to face any club in the Federation Cup. We don't fear any team we are playing against, but respect all. I assure our supporters that we have all it takes to overcome Kwara United on Wednesday in Lagos and qualify for the competition's final match. I trust my teammates, and I know how hungry they are to win the cup. We are in Lagos for business, not a joke."
Rangers last tasted Federation Cup glory in the memorable 'Asaba Miracle' of 2018, where they staged an incredible comeback from three goals down to defeat Kano Pillars on penalties.
