President Of Baseball And Softball Visits Shehu Dikko

The President of the Nigeria Baseball and Softball Association (NBSA), Mr. Uche Odozor, along with the association's Chief Operating Officer, recently paid a courtesy visit to Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), according to BSNSports.com.ng.

During the visit, Mr Odozor reiterated the association’s dedication to aligning its goals with the Chairman's vision for advancing sports in Nigeria.

He described the moment as a fresh start for baseball in the country, emphasizing the NBSA’s commitment to securing Nigeria's qualification for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, with the NSC's support.

The association is already preparing for the 2026 National Sports Festival in Enugu and plans to host several international events in 2025, marking a renewed effort to boost the profile of baseball in Nigeria.
