President Tinubu Receives Super Eagles At The Villa

Nigeria President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Tuesday receive the Super Eagles of Nigeria after their second-placed finish at the 2023 African Nations Cup in Cote D'Ivoire, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The hosts, the Elephants of Cote D'Ivoire on Sunday night outscored Nigeria 2-1 in Abidjan to lift the AFCON trophy at the expense of the three times African champions who have won silver medal for the fifth times.

The Vice President of Nigeria, Kassim Shetima watched the Super Eagles Semifinal and the final matches at the stadiums in Ivory Coast.

Super Eagles players who arrived late last night will depart for their various clubs and will re-assemble next month (March, 2024) for another international competition.
