Nigeria's Super Eagles defender , Zaidu Sanusi, played a key role in FC Porto winning the 2021/2022 Primera Liga title in Portugal, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.

Porto played away to rivals, SL Benfica on Saturday evening knowing that an outright win will guarantee them the title.

The game lived up to expectations, as it was keenly contested and it was the Nigeria international that decided the game.

Sanusi netted the winning goal in the 90+4 minutes and secured Porto their 30th league title.

The left-footed joined the champion last season from another Portuguese side and he has been outstanding since his arrival.
