Pulisic backs USA move for Nigeria-born striker

USMNT star Christian Pulisic has insisted that everyone in the squad would love to have Nigeria-born Folarin Balogun with them.

The Arsenal striker, who is enjoying a great season on loan at French side Reims, is eligible to play for the USA.

While Balogun can also play for England, he has not felt wanted by manager Gareth Southgate at this stage of his career.

"I haven't really spoken to him personally. I know some of the guys that know him from previous teams or whatever have reached out to him and spoke to him," Chelsea attacker Pulisic stated to reporters at USMNT training.

"From our side, we'd love to have him."

Balogun also has the chance to represent Nigeria, based on his family heritage.
