Puskas Award: Onuachu Finishes Bottom In Voting Poll

The World Soccer governing body on Tuesday announced the winner for the 2024 Puskas Award, and Argentine International Alejandro Garnacho clinched the award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Goals scored by eleven players, including Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu, were nominated for the award.

At the end of the voting, the Manchester United attacker won the award with 26 points following the bicycle kick goal he scored against Everton FC.

The Nigerian international attacker finished bottom in the voting after he secured just 4 points.

Onuachu scored the nominated goal during his loan spell with the Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor.
