Qatar 2022: Abubakar Shines Again As Cameroon Shock Brazil, Crash Out

Vincent Abubakar was the hero again on Friday as the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon shocked one of the tournament's favourite, Selecao of Brazil, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Before the final group game on Friday Brazil have already booked their place in the round of 16 while Cameroon has a slim hope of qualifying.

The energetic forward was very instrumental in the second group game as Cameroon rallied back to secure a 3-3 against Serbi.

Brazil expectedly dominated the game but the former African champions defeated the former champions.

Aboubakar scored a stoppage-time header to give the Africans a famous 1-0 victory over the South Americans but eventually saw red for taking off his shirt during the celebration.

Despite the slim win, Cameroon finished in the 3rd position behind Brazil and Switzerland with Serbia coming last on the log.
