Qatar 2022: Babayaro Blames NFF President, Goalkeeper Trainer For Eagles Failure

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Emmanuel Babayaro has blamed Super Eagles failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick ase well ase the team goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Reacting to the ouster, the Atlanta Olympics gold medallist said, "For me personally, i will lay the blame on goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu. He has been the goalkeeper trainer for many years and has failed to bring any improvement on any of the goalkeeper. And also, he has not brought up new goalkeeper into the fold. So, why is he a goalkeeper trainer?"

The former Super Eagles goal tender also laid blame on the doorsteps of Amaju Pinnick.

The President of the Federation is the Chief Scout of Super Eagles. He has been the one traveling to Europe to convince players who were not born here and dont know much about Nigeria football to come and play for us.

The pride of any Federation is in the Domestic League except in Nigeria and you expect success. Its expecting long live from a tree that does not has a root.

"How can you bring strangers together and expect them to do the work of brothers? They cannot play with that urgency because they dont know the history and the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana and what football means to average Nigerian." He concluded
