The Egyptian Football Federation is set to file a complaint to FIFA for the presence of lasers in their game against Senegal at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium on Tuesday Night, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Egyptian lost on penalties again to Senegal after losing the AFCON on penalties to Senegal last month.

Across the two-legged World Cup qualification battle between Senegal and Egypt, a rematch of the 2022 AFCON final, the two nations couldn’t be separated after a 1-1 aggregate draw, and it took a penalty shootout to decide a winner.

Egypt missed 3 out of their 4 penalties under immense pressure and distraction by the opposition fans. The first of those misses were by Salah as his face was green with laser beams when he skied the ball over the ball.

They claim the laser were very high on their players anytime they were about to take their penalty kicks.

But the Senegalese fans say they are paying back what the Egyptian fans did to their players in the first leg in Cairo.
