Qatar 2022: Former Dream Team Goalkeeper Backs Messi To Win World Cup

Former Dream Team goalkeeper Ambrose Vanzekin has thrown his weight behind Argentina's captain Lionel Messi to emerge as the winner of the 2022 World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng report.
The Paris St German attacker was the hero on Tuesday as Argentina defeated Croatia to reach the World Cup final for the second time in the last 3 World Cups.
While on a radio interview, former Flying Eagles shot-stopper expressed his admiration for the Argentine and hope he wins the cup on Sunday.
" I wasn't surprised about the Argentina victory over Croatia, I predicted 3-0. I'm so confident because if Messi is still playing I know what he can do.
I want Messi to win the World Cup because is the best player in the World", he said.
Vanzekin played against Messi twice in his career, he was the Flying Eagles goalkeeper at the 2005 FIFA U20 World cup in Holland where Argentina defeated Nigeria 2-1 with Messi scoring both goals and he was in goal also at the Beijing Olympics final, the South American won again 1-0.
