Qatar 2022: It's A Shame That We Have To Stop Here - Song

The coach of Cameroon Indomitable Lions, Rigobert Song has revealed his regret after they crashed out of the World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Cameroon surprised the entire football world on Friday evening by beating Brazil 1-0 in the final group game of the tournament.

The victory earned was not enough for them as they could only finish in the third position behind Brazil and Switzerland.

"It's a new generation coming up, players must have a competitive spirit. 

"Today they showed it, I'm proud of them. We leave with a little regret because we think we could have done better.

"I am certain that the supporters are not disappointed and I would like to congratulate them, It is historic, we are one of the African countries which have often taken part in the World Cup, and to see Cameroon beat Brazi.

"I have to congratulate my players, they showed they could do better than that. 

"It's a shame that we stop there, but we have to keep positive", he said.
