Qatar 2022: Peseiro Congratulates World Champions Argentina, Hails Davido

Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro has congratulated Argentina on winning their third FIFA World Cup, as he did hail Nigerian singer, David Adeleke famously known as Davido, who performed at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Sunday, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The South Americans defeated defending champions France 4-2 on penalties in a thrilling final that ended 3-3 after extra time.

The Portuguese shared a tweet on Twitter which read: "Congratulations Argentina on winning your third World Cup. It was an exciting game, what an incredible match! You deserve every minute of this title, well done.

Before the kickoff, the much-anticipated performance by Davido's other international stars, got fans in a frenzy mood as it was Davido's first public appearance since losing his son, Ifeanyi in a pool accident

Davido and other artists performed the World Cup theme song, Hayya Hayya.

Peseiro shared his delight for the Nigerian.

"Great performance by @davido, let's get this final started."
