Qatar 2022 Fallout: Another Top African Referee Bow Out

Barely 48 hours before the retirement of South African referee Victor Gomes, another African top referee Zambia's Janine Sikazwe retired from the game, BSNSports.com.ng understand.
The 42-year-old announced his retirement from the game on his return from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Sikazwe became famous for his error to end the 2022 African Cup of Nations game between Mali and Tunisia 5 minutes before the time.
He has been in charge of some big competitions and matches including the FIFA Club World Cup final, an AFCON final, a CAF Champions League final, a FIFA World Cup group game, AFCON qualifiers, AFCON matches, COSAFA matches, ABSA Cup and Zambia Super League.
