Qatar 2022 Fallout: Ghana Eye Tuchel As Addo Replacement

Following the dismal outing of the Black Stars in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Ghana Football Association( GFA) has begun the search for a new manager that will replace Otto Addo, BSNSports.com.ng report.

With Addo as the coach, Ghana failed to qualify for the knockout round of the World Cup and their performances in Qatar also generated a lot of debates among football followers in the country.

The German-based Addo left the team after they crashed out in Qatar and according to a report from Ghana, the FA has targeted former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel as their new manager.

Tuchel was sacked as the coach of the former English champions earlier this season after a slow start in the season.

If the deal materialised, Tuchel will be the second Chelsea ex-manager that will coach Ghana's Black Stars after Avram Grant.
