The manager of the Oranje Boys of the Netherlands Louis Van Gaal has attributed their ouster from the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar to the lack of quality wingers, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Dutch team lost to Argentina through a penalty shootout in the quarter-final of the competition despite coming back from a 2-goal down.

While reacting to the team ouster, former Manchester United manager singlehandedly mentioned former Nigeria's Super Eagles winger George Finidi alongside Dutch international Marc Overmars.

"That's why we haven't lost in the 20 games we started together last summer, that's for nothing.

"Only we don't have the right and left strikers as I had at Ajax, no Overmars, no Finidi George.

"If we play with wingers it can only be done in plan B or C, but setting up two long strikers and pumping the ball into the 16-meters as quickly as possible, you won't always do that, you don't want to play opportunistically all the time", he insisted.
