Despite losing at home, the manager of Indomitable Lions of Cameroon Rigobert Song has declared that all hope is not lost going into the second leg, BSNsports.com.ng understand.


The 5-time Africa champions surprisingly suffered a 0-1 home defeat to Algeria in Japoma on Friday which put their qualification hope in jeopardy.


During a post-match conference, Song admitted that it won't be easy because Algeria will have their fans rooting for them.


" Today we weren't bad, we did what was necessary and we are confident for the return match.


It's true that Algeria will play at home and have the 12th man but we mustn't lose hope, We have all the weapons, " he said.


Cameroon will need to score 2 unreply goals in Algeria to have a chance of qualifying for the World Cup.
