Qatar 2022 Playoffs: Ghana Makes Highest Sales In Gate Takings In Ghana Vs Nigeria Match

National Sports Authority (NSA) in Ghana has declared that they made huge sales from the match tickets in the Balck Stars clash against Super Eagles of Nigeria, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.


The match was initially slated to take place at the Cape Coast before it was moved to the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi with a 40,000 capacity.


The stadium was filled to the brim, the game ended in a draw but NSA is still counting their gains from the match.


According to the report from Ghana, a whopping 1.4 million cedis (USD 190,000) was made from the match tickets sales which represent the highest in the history of Ghana football


The closest was the Ashanti Kotoko campaign in Africa in 2019 which made 900 cedis.
