Qatar 2022 Playoffs: Ghana's Coach Blame Fatigue For Draw Against Nigeria

Manager of Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo, has blamed fatigue for the outcome of the match against rival Nigeria, BSNsports.com.ng gathered

Black Stars were unable to break down the Super Eagles at the Baba Yara stadium despite having an enormous crowd rooting for them.

Ghana enjoyed a plethora of ball possession in the early stages of the encounter but could not make their dominance count on the scoresheet.

The Super Eagles found joy after the break and created decent openings but failed to punish their bitterest rivals as the match ended in a stalemate.

During the team’s post-match presser, coach Addo claimed Nigeria only found their rhythm after his players suffered exhaustion.

“First of all we did well even though we made some mistakes but we started well, there was just a little bit of fatigue and it made Nigeria come into the game more,” Addo said.

The two teams will slug it out again at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja to determine who will qualify for the global showpiece
