Qatar 2022 Playoffs: Hughton Urges Ghanaians To Remain Calm

With few days to the first leg playoff of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria's Super Eagles, the technical adviser of Black Stars, Chris Hughton, has urged Ghanaians to remain calm, BSNsports.com.ng gathered


The newly appointed former Newcastle United coach breezed into Ghana last weekend ahead of the crucial games.


According to him, he said everyone associated with the team knew what is at stake and they are ready to achieve it



" I urged Ghanaians to remain calm because I strongly believe we have the quality, desire and hunger to achieve the result we want.


It's our target to qualify for the Qatar World cup and we all can make that dream a reality.


Ghana has done it before and I can guarantee you that everyone associated with the Black Stars want to use this opportunity to perform on a world stage.


"This moment presents an opportunity to write history and we are committed to it, from the players, the technical staff, the Ghana Football Association and the government, we believe and we are ready," he said.
