Nigeria's Super Eagles and Leicester City winger Ademola Lookman has expressed his happiness over his debut for the national team, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.
Leicester loanee switched allegiance to Nigeria after he represented Junior Three Lions of England at every level.
He was able to make his long-awaited debut against the Black Stars of Ghana in the first leg of the Qatar 2022 World cup playoff.
While reacting to the debut, the former Fulham FC player said he's proud of the moment and further seek more support from the fans ahead of the second leg.
" Extremely proud and grateful to have made my Super Eagles debut. Thank you, God, for the opportunity.
It means everything to put on the shirt and represent my country. See you on Tuesday. We need your support," he said.
Lookman is expected to return to his parent club RB Leipzig of Germany at the end of the season.
