Qatar WC Playoff: Eagles Back In Nigeria

By Oluwayemi Omolagba

After their goalless draw against the Black Stars of Ghana yesterday in Kumasi, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have made an immediate return to the country, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

In a match that fell below expectations tagged a 'boring match' between the two West African brothers, Nigeria held their ground at the full capacity Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and barely 7 hours after the game, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are back to base.

The statement as said on the official page of the Nigeria Football Federation reads: "We have landed Abuja…time to seal the 2022 World Cup ticket on Tuesday."

Nigeria will host Ghana in the 2nd and final playoff match at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Tuesday 29th March, 2022.
