Queens Park Rangers Release Balogun

When Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun recovered from his recent injury, he will play for a new club in the new season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The management of the England Championship club Queens Park Rangers released the list of players that will leave the club at the end of the ongoing season and Balogun's name featured prominently on the list.

Former Brighton Hove Albion player joined the Seagull last summer from the Scottish club Glasgow Rangers but incessant injury affected his performance for the club.

Balogun made 16 appearances for the club this season as they spent most of the season fighting for survival.

It is yet to be seen if he will remain in English football or return to the German league.
