Queens Parks FC Boss Happy To Get Nigerian Rock-Solid Stephen Eze

The manager of the Scottish club Queens Parks FC has expressed his excitement following the acquisition of Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Stephen Eze, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The club on Friday afternoon announced the signing of the former FC Ifeanyi Ubah's centre-back on a 2-year deal.

After playing with the Super Eagles B team in the 2016 CHAN hosted by Rwanda, Eze moved to Bulgaria's Sofia, he also played in Kazakhstan and India.

He spent last in the Croatian league with NK Solin before agreeing on a move to Scotland.

Head coach of the team Owen Coyle who has worked with Eze in India was excited to get the former Kano Pillars and hopes that his inclusion will add necessary value to the team.

“Stephen is a real team player who plays to win. He has showed that in different levels of club football and as well for the Nigerian national team. 

"Working with him in one of my previous clubs in India, I know he’s very athletic, outstanding in both boxes and a real threat at set plays with his natural height and desire to make a difference. 

"We look forward to see him play in the Queens Park Shirt," he said.
