Raberto School, penultimate weekend pumped up as champions of the 2024 Yoshi Abuja private schools football tournament for junior secondary Schools. 

It is the second leg of the Yoshi tournament, as Start-Rite International School won the first leg which involved only Primary School in Abuja a week ago. 

Raberto school situated at Wuse in the final match defeated Voyage international school in the Kaura district of Abuja, 2-1 on penalties after full time scores stood goalless. 

In the group games, Raberto defeated Start-Rite School 2-1, lost their 2nd game 1-0 to Esteem Learning Center, they went on to beat El-Amin international School 1-0, shoved Voyage International School by two goals to nothing and ended the last group game goalless with Sactus Lumen Christi, to finish the group A in the 3rd place with 10 points . 

In a quarter-final pairing, Raberto triumphed 2-1 over ICICE Al-Noor Academy to square up Olumawu college who they defeated 2-0 in the semi final to set up a fixture against Voyage Kaura in the final.

To get to the final, Voyage finished 2nd in group A.

They saw of challenges from from : El-Amin (1-1), Start-Rite (2-0), Santus Lumen Christi (4-0) lost Raberto (0- 2) and won 2-0 over Esteem learning Center.

They defeated Starfield College 3-0 in the quarter final ,won 3-1 over Esteem in the semis.

The final and 3rd leg of Yoshi Abuja Private Schools tournament which is for senior Secondary schools, will be hold Saturday, 28 September 2024.
