Rafa Benitez Tips Ademola Lookman For Success With Atalanta

The pressure is on for Super Eagles Ademola Lookman to deliver after been tipped by Rafa Benitze to hit the ground running in the Italian Serie A with Atalanta, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lookman sealed his €15 million move to Atalanta from RB Leipzig last week, to join a growing list of top Nigerian players in the Serie A.

Benitze, a former Napoli and Inter Milan can see the Serie A becoming more appealing to top players, as the Spaniard has been impressed by the market work of Italian clubs.

He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Many players who are little known internationally but who I consider excellent have arrived. Dybala, Pogba and Lukaku are the most striking shots, I appreciated the other players from Juve, Di Maria and Bremer.

"Attention to Lookman in Atalanta: he could be a pleasant surprise.

"The return of Pogba and Lukaku? It is proof that Italian football still has appeal and potential to attract champions even from the Premier, which remains the league of reference. Specifically, it is an excellent signal for the whole movement."
