Raji Re-elected Unopposed For Third Term as LFA President

Raji Mustapha has been re-elected unopposed as President of the Liberia Football Association, securing a third four-year term in office, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The decision was ratified during the 30th LFA Ordinary Congress held at the association’s headquarters in Congo Town on Friday, May 15, extending his tenure through to 2030.

Raji’s re-election follows what has been widely described as a transformative second term, during which the federation intensified its focus on infrastructure development and grassroots sustainability.

Under his leadership, the LFA has prioritized improved facilities, enhanced financial transparency, and stronger institutional ties with global football bodies such as FIFA and CAF. 

These efforts have been driven by increased accountability in the management of development funds.

Significant progress has also been recorded in the expansion of youth competitions and the promotion of women’s football, with increased investment aimed at broadening participation and strengthening the domestic football structure.

Raji is expected to continue these reforms as he embarks on his third term at the helm of Liberian football.
