Members of Rangers of Enugu Supporters Club were shut out of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Wednesday morning, as they were on the verge of staging a peaceful protest as regards the woeful performance of their team.
BSNSports.com.ng gathered from Tony Ademodi, a Sports Correspondent based in Enugu, that on the arrival of the Supporters Club members at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, they got the shock of their lives, as they were denied access and locked out of the stadium by the stadium management.
The Supporters Club members are unhappy over the team's poor performance in the abridged league with Rangers yet to win a game this season.
The supporters club members also argued that how can Rangers not have a Team Manager after the departure of former Barrister Ameobi Ezeaku.
They also demanded that a Team Manager and General Manager be named to help pilot the affairs of the club.
Recall that since the departure of Davidson Owumi who joined the interim management Committee (IMC) from his former position as General Manager of the Rangers Int’l FC of Enugu, the club’s Secretary Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua has been the one acting in the GM’s capacity.
