Rangers manager Philippe Clement has commended Nigeria's Super Eagles forward, Cyril Dessers, for his outstanding performance in the team’s 5-0 victory over Fraserburgh, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dessers netted a hat trick, securing his team's place in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup. Despite having scored 16 goals this season, Dessers has seen his playing time limited due to the rise of Igamane Hamza.

Clement praised Dessers for his strong mentality and hard work, noting,

"It shows his mentality, especially as he has played less recently due to Hamza's form. Cyril is a great character in the dressing room, and he’s been working tirelessly. His efforts have earned him this reward."

Dessers, who was Rangers' top scorer last season, continues to impress with his 16 goals across all competitions this year.
