Rangers did a demolition job by putting six goals past reigning Nigeria Police Games football champions, Police Machine F.C of Awka in a friendly match played at the Awka City Stadium on Thursday, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Coach Abdul Maikaba fielded a mix of old and new players and the combination came off with great success as former FIFA World Cup star, Ejike Uzoenyi set the harvest of goals rolling with a swift finish in the seventh minute while new boy, Michael Ibeh helping himself to a brace in the 12th and 35th minute just as chances that fell for the likes of Stephen Chukwude, Jacob John and Chidiebere Nwobodo were expertly saved by the Police Machine goalkeeper.

Second-half goals from the boots of substitutes, Eboko Ikechukwu, Musa Adamu and Chukwuebuka Okorie in the 73rd, 78th and 88th minutes of play snuffed out whatever fight-back energy left in the opponents in the match that was watched by the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Echeng Echeng and other top Police officers as well as other football stakeholders in the state.

Chances fell for the Police team in the 48th and 68th minutes to score but Ranger's shot-stoppers did well to deny A.C.P Aniefi from burying the chances.
