Rangers Withdraw From CAF Champions League

Sierra Leone Premier League champions Bo Rangers have withdrawn from the 2026/27 CAF Champions League due to financial constraints, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club confirmed that it will no longer represent Sierra Leone in Africa's premier club competition, citing financial challenges as the reason behind the decision.

Bo Rangers earned qualification for the CAF Champions League after winning the Sierra Leone Premier League title.

However, the club has opted against participating in the continental tournament because of the financial demands associated with the competition.

The withdrawal is a significant setback for both the club and Sierra Leonean football, with the country now set to lose its representative in the 2026/27 CAF Champions League unless a replacement is approved by the relevant football authorities.
