After four impressive years in Spain, Nigerian forward Rasheedat Ajibade is set to leave Atlético Madrid Femenino this Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ajibade, who joined the club in 2021 from Nigeria’s FC Robo Queens, quickly established herself as a key player.

Over her time with the Spanish side, she made 138 appearances and scored 40 goals, playing a pivotal role in their UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigns.

Atlético Madrid confirmed her departure on Saturday morning, stating: “Our players Cardona, Ajibade, Moraza, and Barth will not continue as Red and White next season and will bid farewell to the fans on Sunday at Alcalá.”

During her stint with the club, Ajibade helped the team secure two league titles, a Supercopa de España Femenina, and a Copa de la Reina.
