Rasheedat Ajibade Emphasizes Value Of Team Building

As the Super Falcons gear up for their international friendly against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, team captain Rasheedat Ajibade has highlighted the crucial role of team building in the squad’s preparations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Under the guidance of coach Justin Madugu, the friendly match serves as part of the team’s buildup toward the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). Ajibade, a dynamic midfielder, stressed the significance of the training camp and the upcoming fixtures in shaping a cohesive unit.

“Right now, it’s just a training camp, so it’s basically for us to build the team and understand who we have in the squad,” she said in a video shared on the Super Falcons’ official X (formerly Twitter) account.

“But the most important thing is to build the team and ensure we’re fully prepared for WAFCON.”
