Real Madrid Star Alaba Plans Football Centre In Nigeria, Donates N13.3M Facility

David Alaba of Real Madrid is set to build a football training centre in Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Alaba through his foundation donated a facility to the Federal Government of Nigeria as a contribution to ending open defecation.
The facility is located at Kara Market, Ogere Remo in Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria.
His foundation was also informed of the Real Madrid star's plan for a football training centre.
In December 2021, the player through the David Alaba Foundation donated N13.3 million to build toilets in Nigeria.
On Friday, the federal government, through the Minister of Water Resources Suleiman Adamu, lauded the gesture by Nigerian-born Austrian international.
Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission thanked Alaba for the kind gesture.
She posted on Twitter: "A big thanks for the facility donated by the David Alaba Foundation at Kara Market, Ogere Remo, Ogun State to support FGNs move to end open defecation. David is also planning a football training centre in Nigeria."
