Real Sociedad Coach Heap Praises On Sadiq Umar

Despite having an injury-ravaged season, the head coach of the Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad Imanol Alguacil has heaped praises on Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The lanky attacker joined the Sociedad from Almeria and started on a strong note, scoring 3 goals in 5 games before he got injured 

He was ruled out of action for 11 months and since his return, he has been struggling to recapture the old form.

The Nigerian International is set to leave the club this summer with another Spanish side Getafe.

" There has not been any bad gesture, he has always wanted to contribute and when he has not done it, it has been a technical and tactical decision.

He has respected it, has has continued training until the end, being more, that is why I say, I can't ask for more from these types of players.

"He gives his all, this is football and is about performing, getting it right, but hey the main this and basic thing for me is to give it your all , give it your all and be respectful.

"In Sadiq's case, I can't say anything bad about him", he said.
