Real Sociedad Gives Update On Sadiq Umar

Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad has released an update on the injury of Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Sadiq Umar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Umar sustained an injury in the early part of the season after joining the club from another Spanish side UD Almeria.

Since then the Nigeria international has been undergoing treatment and rehabilitation on the injured part.

The club confirmed via its official website that Umar has started training and is already in the final phase of his recovery.

"In the final phase of his recovery, Sadiq Umar held his first work session this morning with his colleagues.

The happy face of the Nigerian attacker showed his state of mind to continue his improvement ahead of his return to the pitch," the club said.
