Real Sociedad's manager has called up Umar Sadiq for the match against Real Betis, while awaiting clarity on the Nigerian's future during one of the few remaining transfer windows.

BSNSports.com.ng, gathered that the transfer market in Saudi Arabia remains open until October 2, providing Sadiq with an opportunity to move to this exotic football destination.

During the current transfer window, Sadiq declined several offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, as reported by Marca, in hopes of signing with Valencia.

However, that option did not materialize, and he remains with Real Sociedad.

While waiting to see if any new offers from Saudi Arabia come in before the transfer deadline, manager Sergio Francisco has included Sadiq in the squad for the trip to Seville to face Real Betis.

Despite this, it is likely that Sadiq will be left out of the matchday squad and will watch from the stands.

With Oskarsson still injured, Karrikaburu has capitalized on Sadiq's situation and is expected to get more playing time in the blue and white kit against the Seville team.

Oyarzabal is anticipated to start, as he is in excellent form leading up to the match, with Barrenetxea and Kubo rounding out the forward line.
