Reasons Behind My Heroic Performance For Bayelsa Queens In CAF WCL - Bawou

Bayelsa Queens goalkeeper Bawou Gabrielle has revealed the secret behind her heroic performance in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Despite the third-place finish of the Nigeria champions, the Cameroonian international was able to distinguish herself throughout the entire competition.

Her outstanding performance earned her a Woman Of The Match award in the 3rd place match against Simba Queens of Tanzania.

" Morocco 2022 was my first WAFCON with my senior national team and I was disappointed because my team [Cameroon] was used to reaching the semifinal or final but didn't make it.

"That was a great disappointment for me and when I missed the opportunity to be qualified for third place that was why I decided to get the gold medal with Bayelsa Queens in Morocco again.

"I planned for the gold medal in this tournament, but by God's grace, I got the bronze medal. I appreciate all the members of my team and Bayelsa, who hosted me and gave me this opportunity", she told CAF media.
