Remo Stars Officially Announce Departure Of Academy Product On Loan To Brazil's Flamengo

Last season's Nigeria Premier League runner-ups - Remo Stars officially announced the completion of a season-long loan move for their academy product Shola Ogundana to Brazilian outfit Flamengo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 18-year-old right-winger who came through Remo's academy - Beyond Limits Football Academy, is known for his fast pace, tricky on the ball, creativity, and goal contributions, to mention but a few notable attributes, as he took the Creative Championship (TCC) League campaign by storm last season.
Shola accrued the most assists (10) in the 2022-23 TCC League campaign, as the Sky Blue Stars family wished him the best of luck in his time in faraway South America.
"Forward, Shola Ogundana has completed his move to Brazilian giant, Flamengo from Remo Stars," the official statement read on Remo's official website.
"Blessed with blistering pace, dribbles, and eyes for goals, the teenager is an academy product of the club at Beyond Limits Football Academy.
"Most notably, Shola featured in The Creative Championship and Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament in Italy.
"He had the most assists (10) of any play during the 2022/23 TCC League campaign, and everyone at Remo Stars wishes him all the best during his time in Brazil," the statement concluded.
Shola, 5ft 6' tall, was born on the 22nd of February, 2005 in Ifaki Town, Ekiti State to South Western parents.
