Rivers Hoopers Arrive Lagos Ahead of Louis Edem Tournament

As part of the preparation for the 2025 Basketball Africa League, Rivers Hoopers have arrived in Lagos for the fourth edition of the Louis Edem Invitational Basketball Championship from 26 January to 1 February, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The KingsMen have been drawn to face Police Batons, Energie (Benin Republic), Comets and the defending champions of the competition, Hoops and Read in Group A.

Last season's finalists, Spintex Knights of Ghana, face off with Raptors, Lagos Legends, ASPAC and Elan Coto,n, both from Benin Republic, is, in Group B.

The games will be played in a round-robin format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals scheduled to take place on Friday, 31 January.

The finals will be played the following day. Rivers Hoopers won the 2023 Louis Edem tournament but settled for third place at the last edition, which was held in April 2024.
