Rivers Hoopers Land In Nigeria After 2024 BAL Campaign

After completing their adventure at the 2024 Basketball Africa League (BAL) with a dominant 23-point blowout of South Africa's Cape Town Tigers to clinch third place, Nigerian champions Rivers Hoopers on Sunday arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The KingsMen, who secured Nigeria's first-ever podium finish at the BAL landed in Lagos and were welcomed by the Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoh and Rivers State Sports Commissioner Barr. Chris Green. 

Head coach Ogoh Odaudu was also named the BAL Season Four Coach of the Year. 

Meanwhile, Rivers Hoopers has appreciated Nigerians for their support during the 2024 BAL in Kigali, Rwanda. 

According to them; "A big thank you to all our fans on Niger Street, in Town, in Port Harcourt, in Niger Delta, in Nigeria, in Africa and all over the world for your support before and during the BAL season 4. We appreciate you all as we leave Kigali back to our base."
