The Nigeria Premier Football League rescheduled fixture between Rivers United and Rangers International which was postponed by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) at Week 8 has got a new date.

The game which was Initially billed for Wednesday Match-day 8 of the NPFL at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt will now hold on Wednesday, March 22 at the same venue.

Rivers United’s request for postponement was granted by the IMC to allow the NPFL champions prepare for their CAF Confederation Cup match-day 5 encounter against Diables Noirs of Congo.

Stanley Eguma’s side will face the Congolese at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.

Rivers United are topping Group B of the CAF Confederation Cup with nine points from four games.
