Former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has offered career advice to FC Nantes winger Moses Simon, amid growing speculation about the Nigerian international’s future, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

With Simon approaching the end of his contract with the French side, interest from top-tier clubs has intensified.

“Moses Simon is having a strong personal season despite being in a struggling team — 7 goals and 9 assists speak for themselves,” Rohr said.

“It’s no surprise that bigger clubs are watching him.” Describing Simon as “a coach’s delight,” Rohr praised his attitude and contribution on and off the pitch.

“He’s hardworking, listens well, and always puts the team first. While he might not score 20 or 25 goals a season due to his role as a winger, his ability to both score and assist makes him crucial to any attack.”

Rohr suggested that a move to the Premier League could suit the 28-year-old.

“England would be a good challenge. He speaks the language, and many Nigerian players have succeeded there. His pace, technical skills, and eye for goal make him a great fit for the Premier League.”

He also mentioned Olympique Marseille as a possible destination: “OM would benefit from his signing, especially if they qualify for the Champions League. The schedule would be demanding, and a player like Simon could be key", he told Africafoot.
