Rovers FC Team Bus in Serious Road Accident

A team bus carrying players of Rovers FC was involved in a serious road accident this morning while en route to Lagos for a Nigerian National League (NNL) fixture against Sporting Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to eyewitness accounts, the bus somersaulted three times before coming to a stop on its side. 

The crash occurred on a section of the road in Delta State as the team travelled for the away game.

Many players sustained injuries, with some reported to have serious conditions requiring medical attention. 

Emergency responders and medical teams were quickly on the scene to provide aid and transport the injured to nearby hospitals.

In a positive development amid the incident, no deaths have been recorded so far from the accident. 

Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the exact cause of the crash or the full extent of the injuries.

The match against Sporting Lagos is expected to be affected, though no official confirmation has been made regarding postponement or rescheduling.
