Russia Premier League: Moses On Target In Opening Season Game

Action resumed in the 2023/2024 Russian Premier League season and it was a good outing for the former Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Victor Moses and his club Spartak Moscow, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The capital city club hosted FC Orenburg on Sunday and recorded a 3-2 victory in the keenly contested match.
It was Moses that netted the opening goal on the stroke of halftime and ensured a lead going into the locker room.
Orenburg came back stronger in the second half and levelled up in the 50th minute through Vorobyev.
Florentin put the away side ahead in the 67th minute before Khlusevic scored twice towards the end of the game to give the host a 3-2 win.

Nigeria-born English youngster who plays for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, Michael Akpovie Olise, has been making waves amongst elite clubs who are showing interest in getting his services, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Olise, 21-years-old, who was born in England to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother, was eligible to represent four different nationalities in international football, noting his ties to England Nigeria, France, and Algeria based on residence and parentage.
The left footed attacking and creative midfielder joined Crystal Palace in the summer of 2021 for £8 million after coming through the ranks at Reading Football Club, but has seen his market value quadriple under two years with his performance and output.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano hinted on top clubs like reigning EPL champions Manchester City and London's Chelsea having Olise on their scouting list for possible transfer this summer, bearing in mind his release clause from Crystal Palace placed at £35 million.
"Chelsea and Manchester City have both Michael Olise in their list. Understand there’s release clause into his contract — around £35m.
"Both clubs are waiting for clarity about his conditions as he picked up injury last month."
Olise is still eligible to feature for Nigeria internationally if he chooses, as he has only featured for the French U-18, and U-21 age grade teams.
