Rwanda Football Association President Arrested Over Alleged Cheque Case

The Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) has confirmed the arrest of Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) President Shema Fabrice Ngoga, who is currently in custody, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the RIB, Ngoga is being investigated over allegations linked to the issuance of a cheque that was reportedly not supported by sufficient funds.

The football administrator’s arrest comes as authorities continue their probe into the matter, with further details expected as investigations progress.

Ngoga was elected president of the Rwanda Football Federation in 2023 and has been leading the country’s football administration since then.
