Rwanda has been confirmed as the host nation for the men’s FIFA Series scheduled to take place in March 2026, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The prestigious football event will be staged at the newly renovated Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, marking another major milestone for the East African nation as it continues to position itself as a growing sports destination on the continent.

The FIFA Series is a set of friendly international matches facilitated by football’s world governing body to enable national teams play opponents from other continents—an opportunity that has historically been limited for many associations due to travel and financial constraints.

By hosting the tournament, Rwanda will provide participating nations with a platform to gain valuable exposure, improve competitiveness, and build experience ahead of major competitions, including World Cup qualifiers.

The Amahoro Stadium, which recently underwent extensive upgrades to meet international standards, will serve as the main venue for the matches.

More details, including participating teams and fixtures, are expected to be revealed by FIFA in the coming months.
