Rwanda Vs Nigeria: NFF's Advance Party To Arrive In Kigali On Friday

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has concluded plan to send advance party to Kigali ahead of the team's arrival at the venue of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier versus Rwanda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The advance party is expected to depart Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja for Kigali on Friday 14 March 2025, seven days before Super Eagles’ next World Cup 2026 qualifying match away to Rwanda.
The Nigeria Football Federation NFF isn’t taking anything for chance ahead of the crucial qualifier as the Eagles aim to resuscitate their faltering campaign.
The advance party is expected to work the Rwanda Football Association in making sure that the Super Eagles are received in a conducive situation, settles the accomodations, and most importantly the team having hitch-free trip to concentrate on the must-win match.
Nigeria risks missing the 2026 FIFA World Cup as they sit fifth on the log with three points from four games. Four points behind group leaders, Rwanda, with six games left to play.
The two matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe are crucial to Nigeria chance of securing a ticket to the global football showpiece.
