SPL: Dessers Has A Big Heart - Rangers Coach

The coach of the Scottish Premier League club Rangers, Phillipe Clement has described Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers as a player with a big heart, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After a decent performance during the week in Europe, the Nigerian International started Sunday's game against St Mirren on the bench, but he came in with the game at 1-1.

He quickly made an impact and scored the winning goal to earn the Gers a maximum points.

" It was a good performance after a European night; we could have scored more than two goals, but the opponent's goalkeeper was really strong, and with Cyril, he was active".

" He showed a big heart on Thursday, and he did that again today; he loves the club and wants to give everything to get results; as a striker, he not only scores but also helps the team by providing assists".

" The second goal shows the hunger and passion Cyril has to win games, and he gives everything for that, I'm really happy".

" The way he came into the pitch is what I expected from every player who comes on, to give us that extra energy and that needs to be our strength in a couple of months", he told Rangers TV.
